Savage Pre Fits

The Savage pre fit barrel is a product that every major barrel manufacturer is producing for competent gunsmiths with skill levels ranging from the at home do-it-yourselfer up to your certified professional. If you are gun-savy and have a barrel vise, a Savage barrel nut wrench and the corresponding chambers’ Go gauge, you have everything you need to correctly change your Savage barrel.  Savage pre fits come in 2 shank sizes; Standard (small) Shank / 1.058”-20, Large / 1.120”-20.  Please be sure of your Savage barrel shank size before placing order to ensure an easy order placement. 

Remington 783

Remington 783 barrels work off of the same concept as the Savage pre fits by having a barrel nut to set the headspace of your barrel to the action of your gun.

Remington 700 "Rem/Ages"

For over 50 years the Remington 700 has been the go to gun for hunters and servicemen alike because of its’ known out-of-the-box accuracy. Now coupled with the Savage Barrel nut design we get the Rem/Age pre fit barrel.  By elongating the threads and adding a barrel nut, you are able to change out your Remington 700 barrel with a matching chamber Go gauge, barrel nut wrench and a barrel vise. Bighorn Pre-Fit Barrels

Bighorn barrels work off of the same concept as the Savage pre fits by having a barrel nut to set the headspace of your barrel to the action of your rifle. If you are gun-savy and have a barrel vise, a Savage barrel nut and wrench and the corresponding chambers’ Go gauge, you have everything you need to correctly install a barrel for your Bighorn action.

Tikka T3 Pre-Fit Barrels

Tikka's have proven themselves time and again to be out-of-the-box accurate rifles.  To take that accuracy to the next level, install one of our precision pre-fit Tikka T3 barrels.  Tikka T3 Pre-Fit barrels work off of the same concept as the Savage pre-fits by having a barrel nut to set the headspace of your barrel to the action of your gun. If you are gun-savy and have a barrel vise, a 3/8" driver and the corresponding chambers’ Go gauge, you have everything you need to correctly install a barrel on your Tikka T3.

Mossberg 100, ATR, MVP, Patriot Pre-Fit Barrels

Mossberg barrels work off of the same concept as the Savage pre fits by having a barrel nut to set the headspace of your barrel to the action of your rifle. If you are gun-savy and have a barrel vise, a proper barrel nut and wrench and the corresponding chambers’ Go gauge, you have everything you need to correctly install a barrel for your Mossberg action.  (Comes in Small or Standard action sizes)

Sig Cross Pre-Fit Barrels

If you are gun-savy, have the correct Sig Cross barrel extension, barrel nut as well as the proper tools and corresponding chambers’ Go gauge, you have everything you need to correctly install a barrel for your Sig Cross rifle.  

All Sig Cross prefit barrels we manufacture require the use of a Sig Cross 1"x16 Barrel Nut and Barrel Extension (not included).  Most tend to remove their original barrel extension from their factory Sig Cross barrel.  The barrel extension needs to be torqued on to the X-Caliber Sig Cross prefit barrel using Sig's factory barrel nut using their specified torque specifications and the headspace should be checked with appropriate headspace gauges.  The Sig Cross prefit barrels we manufacture duplicate the OEM chamber protrusion dimensions.
